This Privacy Policy explains how Glowkin ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Glowkin app. By using Glowkin, you agree to the practices described here.

Some information you choose to share — including menstrual-cycle data, sleep, hydration, diet, mood/stress, skin ratings, and photos of your face or skin — may be considered health or sensitive personal information under applicable law. Before you finish onboarding, we ask you to separately consent to this kind of processing (see Section 6). Washington and Nevada residents also have specific rights under state consumer health data law — see our Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

• Email address (from email sign-up, Sign in with Apple, or Google sign-in)
• Password (stored in hashed form — we never see or store it in readable text)
• Name, if you provide it or your sign-in provider shares it
• Gender, if you select it — used only to decide whether to offer menstrual-cycle logging
• Skincare goals, self-reported skin type and concerns

We do not collect your precise location or GPS. We do not collect your precise location or GPS. We do not use third-party advertising or crash-reporting tools. We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used (see "Usage Analytics" below).

Usage Analytics

We use Google Analytics for Firebase, a service provided by Google, to understand where people drop off or get stuck during onboarding and to improve the app. This includes:

• App usage events, such as which onboarding screens you view, complete, or skip
• A randomly generated app instance ID
• Device and app information (device model, operating system version, app version)
• Approximate region, derived from your IP address (we do not receive your precise location)

We do not send your name, email address, or the answers you enter in the app (such as skin type, birthday, gender, or health logs) to Google Analytics. We do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), and we do not use this data for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
